Having worked in the security industry for many years, I have seen and witnessed many issues with products on site.
Sometimes products on site need to be purchased again.
Sometimes new parts needs to be site specific
New parts often need particular settings to be configured for an installation.
Site specific settings may need to be configured in the equipment.
Trying to reduce the calls to technical support.
Most technical support calls can be reduced if the system has been initially configured with the correct settings.
Here at Prebuilt-Technology we aim to remove most of the support issues by pre-building and pre-programming all of the items we send out.
Sounds unbelievable doesn’t it, but with the correct settings installed by us, many hours can be saved during an installation.
Our site has two Skill-Types to entry.
Skill-Type-1: (Engineers).
This is of course for the skilled installer who has experience installing and working within the industry.
This type of account we refer to as a ‘Frequent-Access-Account’.
An experienced installer will need to have a Skill-Type-1 account setup & active.
Skill-Type-2: (Novice).
This is geared towards the home installer who requires more help, and usually has little experience with this type of equipment.
This type of account we refer to as an ‘Ocassional-Access-Account’.
The novice installer will need have a Skill-Type-2 account setup & active.
Working In the UK.
Having worked in the UK all my adult life and in the security industry since 1996 I have built up a collection of credible knowledge so we can reason when an item is supplied, if it is “Fit For Purpose”.
We will collectively pass our detailed knowledge onto you as required.
Every Product we supply is checked and pre-programmed by us to ensure all the correct settings are embedded into the product.
All initial settings that are programmed into the products before they leave us, and are unique to each installation. The initial settings we program into the products can stored by us so there is a backup should you need it. Also all the settings can be applied to future purchases of the same equipment saving time and money.
Should the product have cause to fail, a quick scan of the QR code on the equipment, tells us all the settings that are programmed into the product when it left our shelves.
A replacement item can be pre-programmed with identical settings, including:
IP address,
Subnet mask,
Gateway,
Recording settings,
Any unique settings,
camera name, etc.
The replacement item is sent to you direct enabling a very quick turn around on site. When the product arrives all the engineer will need to do is change the faulty unit with the replacement. The replacement unit will automatically connect to the equipment on site with no user interevntion required.
Also if the VQR-Code has been registered to a site, then the replacement product will be sent direct to the site it was installed at just by using the VQR-Code-Engine.
We work with a small but professional range of security equipment.
CCTV products are available, from a basic 2mp dome camera all the way up to advanced auto-tracking PTZ cameras and beyond.
Our cameras come in HD analogue, IP and Power-Over-Co-ax and are all available in the type of housing to suit your premises, and aslo available in grey or white colours.
We will always auto-select the correct recorder that is suitable for the premises.
All of our standard DVR’s (Non-Power-Over-Co-ax) are 5 in 1 (CVI, TVI, AHD, CVBS IP) with the additional connections for the IP range of cameras.
All of our Network-Video-Recorders have Audio-Over-CAT5e functionality as standard, enabling audio to be recorded on each channel if required.
This audio option is only available with the correct compatible cameras.
Advanced AI and the most up to date technology is available within the recorder or compatible cameras.
The Mobile-App allows connections to all of the equipment we supply. One App prevents a learning curve for any new products you may need to add.
